I was so lucky to spend a week in Yiddishland the summer of 2021. Yiddishland was held at the Worker's Circle camp near the Catskills. The cabins are white and run down. The Klezmer jams took place in the very very brightly lit dining hall. Then the musicians would start to jam - moments of almost metal intensity. This two panel painting is my attempt to show how I visualize klezmer a theme I continue to explore.
